Voucher terms and conditions

We only accept Student Contact Lenses vouchers on this site and as credit against orders over $150.

One voucher per purchase will be sent to the email address you give to us. It is valid for 6 months from issue and is not transferable.

The vouchers cannot be used for special offers or promotions.

The vouchers have no cash value.

 

Product description

The contact lens description and specifications are taken from the manufacturer’s literature; we cannot be responsible for any inaccuracy by them.

 

Payment methods

We accept Visa and MasterCard

It may take 2 or 3 days for your payment to be billed after authorisation.

Fax orders will be confirmed by email.

 

Shipping only within Australia

Dispatch is normally within 36 hours of receiving your order, using Australia Express Post.

We will contact you if there is an expected delay – allowing you to cancel.

Standard delivery charge for lenses is $8.00, including solution $12.00 – free over $150.

Orders over $200 must be signed for.

For overseas deliveries, any import duty (this is rare and often only 5%), must be paid by the purchaser.

No deliveries to campsites, apartments, post boxes or general delivery addresses e.g. offices.

 

Cancellation of order

After the order is dispatched, our returns policy applies.

We will advise you if a backorder delay of 5 days or longer is anticipated on your order. Should you then wish to cancel, please email your cancellation with 2 days of order.

 

Warranty

All of our lenses are factory sealed.

If you suspect that your lenses are defective and you need to return them, enclose a scan / photocopy of the original optometrist’s prescription, we shall then return the faulty lens/es to the manufacturer for examination.

 

 

Returns Policy

We only accept return of lenses if the order was incorrectly supplied.

Coloured contact lenses will not be exchanged for another colour. It is assumed that you have tried the colours you have selected.

The lenses we supply are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s normal warranty; we will replace any lens, which, due to the manufacturer’s fault, is defective or torn upon opening.

If you buy a 12 months supply of lenses from us, then we will exchange full, unopened and resalable boxes in perfect condition, should your practitioner change your contact lens prescription.

The lenses must have been purchased from us. They must be at least 3 months before the expiry date.

Do not return lenses without contacting us first for a return address and number.

Never return contact lenses in an envelope but always use a sturdy box.

 

Complaints

We are pleased to receive any comments that you have about our site and service.

In the unlikely chance of a delivery error or complaint, please email us at sales@studentcontactlenses.com.au, and we will try and resolve the problem as speedily as possible. Normally within 72 hours.

 

Private Australian Health Funds

Please check with your health fund to ensure that your order will be rebateable before ordering.

Lenses cannot be returned if your fund does not give any refund.

Your receipt will have all the details required to make your private Australian health fund claim.

 

Price guarantee

We will meet any reputable Australian Internet competitor’s price.

The price must be clearly displayed and not reliant upon volume purchase or special sale price.
